David Allan Steele

ROCKWELL - David Allan Steele, 60, of Rockwell, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

David was born on Dec. 24, 1954, in Rowan County, a son of Catherine Fisher Steele and the late James Steele.

David was educated in the Rowan County School System. He enjoyed music, gardening, antiques and tinkering.

In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Steele.

David is survived by his daughter, Tracy Steele Allen and her husband Brian and their children, Aidan and Ike of North Augusta, S.C.; step-son Bruce Raney of North Augusta; brother Jim Steele and wife Debbie; and sister Judy Livengood.

Arrangements: There will be a Memorial Service at Powles Funeral Home in Rockwell Sunday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. Bruce Sheeks. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 p.m., prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

Carolina Cremation is assisting the Steele family.
