Notes for Faye Marlene Beaver
Faye Carter

Faye Marlene Beaver Carter, 84, of Salisbury, peacefully passed away Friday morning, Dec. 3, 2021, at Kiser Hospice House. Born Feb. 8, 1937, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Cleatus and Roxie Graham Beaver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy Carter; her twin sister, who died at birth, and her sons-in-law, Dennis Isaacson and Milton Young.

Faye was a 1955 graduate of Mt. Ulla High School. Earlier in life, she had worked for Fiber Industries, later working with and helping her husband in the construction business and she was also a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Carter was a lifelong loyal member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and had been active in many phases of church work. Faye and Hoy enjoyed their extensive traveling, especially with Everette and Irene Beaver, and she adored her grandchildren and time spent with them.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Mrs. Carter will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members left with cherished memories include her children, Connie Carter, Terry Carter and Carolyn Isaacson; her much loved grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb Isaacson; her loved, special friend, Lynn Edenburn; and extended family members.

Arrangements: The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 1-2 p.m., at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral services to remember and celebrate Mrs. Carter's life will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Revs. Bruce Graham and Liz Fisher. Mrs. Carter will be laid to rest beside her husband in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Carter's name to St Mark's Lutheran Church, 5202 Mooresville Rd., Salisbury, NC, or to Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC.
