Claude D. Eagle Sr.
Mr. Claude D. Eagle Sr., 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday morning.
Claude was born July 16, 1933, in Rowan County to Arnold Hubert Eagle and Naomi Hahn. Claude served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Korean War veteran. He attended the Goshen Church and also the Salvation Army Church. He was an accomplished plumber and a licensed plumbing contractor.
Surviving are his son, Claude D. Eagle Jr. of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Leanne E. Allen of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Walter, Naomi and Lee Allen; a stepgranddaughter, Kimberly Boose; step-great-grandsons, Michael and Adam; and a special friend, Dora Stanley.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2003, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Jack Stoner officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.
