Malloya K. "Buddy" Moore Jr., 64, of Hagerstown passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at his home. Born Jan. 19, 1949, in Greenville County, S.C., he was the son of the late Malloya K. Moore Sr. and Myrtle Marie (Carter) Moore.
Buddy had worked as a sheet-metal mechanic in Hagerstown.
He is survived by three siblings, Betty Hendrix and husband, Wendell, of Lexington, S.C., Rose Zeigler of Hagerstown, and David C. Moore and wife, Ruth, of Hancock; six nieces, Tina Jeffcoat of Gaston, S.C., Shana Oxx of Clear Lake, Calif., Hedi Hamilton of Hagerstown, Bethany Oxx of Hagerstown, Penny Porter of Lexington and Melissa Procter of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one nephew, Wendell Hendrix Jr. of Lexington.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with his brother-in-law, Bishop Wendell Hendrix, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Malloya K. "Buddy" Moore Jr., 64, of Hagerstown passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at his home. Born Jan. 19, 1949, in Greenville County, S.C., he was the son of the late Malloya K. Moore Sr. and Myrtle Marie (Carter) Moore.
