SALISBURY - Terry Wayne Livengood, 62, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at his residence.
He was born March 2, 1952, in Salisbury, the son of Doris Livengood Fortune and the late Bill Livengood of Salisbury. Terry attended West Rowan High School. He was a very active member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Terry's favorite hobby was fishing, and he loved the beach.
Preceding him in death were his father, stepfather Bill Fortune, and daughter Wendy Eden Lowe.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Connie Martin Livengood, who he married on Oct. 2, 1972; sons Eric Livengood and his wife Jodi Livengood and Terry Alan Livengood and his fiance; Celena White; daughter Angela Livengood Horton and her husband Jeff Horton; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Bill Livengood; sister Debbie Varner; and his church family of Eastside Baptist.
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at Eastside Baptist Church, 370 Trexler Road, Salisbury, NC 28146, with Rev. Joe Black officiating. The family will receive friends after the service and will be at the residence at other times.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lyerly Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
