Fannie Moyle Furr
ALBEMARLE ― Fannie Moyle Furr, 91, of 24724 U.S. 52 died Saturday evening (June 10, 2000) at the N.C. Lutheran Home, Albemarle.
Born July 20, 1908 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Rosa Herrin Moyle and John Matthew Moyle. She was a homemaker and lifetime member of Herrin's Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Her husband, Paul Furr, died Jan. 6, 1991.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Furr and Doyle Furr.
Survivors include sons Jay Van Furr, Cecil James Furr and Donnie Furr, all of Albemarle; daughters Bernice F. Thompson, Louise F. Holt, Dorothy F. Hopkins and Rose Furr “Peggy” Holt, all of Albemarle; sister Flossie Moyle, Concord; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Hartsell Funeral Home, conducted by Elder Charles A. Broadway.
Burial, Herrin’s Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation: 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
