Notes for Martha Jane Herrin
Martha Jane Herrin Hatley gave the land to build Herrin’s Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Her brother Rufus Herrin gave the timber for the needed lumber. The church was organized on Dec 24, 1925, and granted membership in the Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Association on May 1, 1926.
