Janet Brady Davis
Janet Brady Davis, 88, of Gold Hill, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021.
She was born December 16, 1932, in Rowan County to the late John and Eva Morgan Brady. Mrs. Davis attended Rockwell High School and received her LPN Degree from Rowan Tech. She was employed at Rowan Memorial Hospital in Salisbury before retiring after 37 years. Her faith was a very important part of her life; Mrs. Davis was a member of Eastside Baptist Church where she was active in the church choir and loved helping with Vacation Bible School over the years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, gardening, and canning vegetables.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her first husband, Beauford Edward Wagoner; daughter, Sylvia Caroline Wagoner; and son-in-law, Eddie Small.
She is survived by her husband Larry Wayne Davis; children, Melissa Wagoner Lowman (David) of Salisbury; Regina Wagoner Smith (Michael) of Holly Springs, Amanda Ellen Small of Gold Hill, Tonja Davis Hughes (Brett) of Denton, and Beauford Edward Wagoner, II of Gold Hill; grandchildren, Kerry Lowman, Brittany Medley, Tommy and Devon Small, Connor and Cady Smith, Ryan and Jacob Wagoner, Davis and Morgan Hughes; and great-grandchildren, Ashlee Wagoner Maltba, Parker Lowman, and Isabella Medley.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be private.
Burial will take place in St. Paul's Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Gold Hill.
