Tuesday, November 12, 2013 — David Anthony Morton, 59 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at his home.
David was born June 19, 1954, in Stanly County to Joseph Vernon Morton and Lois Jeanette Huneycutt Morton.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service followed at 2 p.m. in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Delane Burris. The burial was at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Jeanette Morton of Albemarle; his son, Isaac Joseph Morton of Locust; and sister, Connie Morton-Ewbank of Massachusetts.
Memorials may be made to Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
