Fannie Mae Graham Parker, 78, of Richfield died Wednesday August 27, 2008 at CMC Northeast Medical Center in Concord. Mrs. Parker was born December 9, 1929 in Rowan County, daughter of the late Emory Knox Graham and Margaret McDaniel Graham. She attended the Mt. Ulla Schools and was employed by Federal Pacific in Albemarle. Mrs. Parker was a member of Luther's Lutheran Church and was a member of WELCA and was a former Sunday School teacher.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband Mr. Roy Leon Parker whom she married April 26, 1958, daughter Debbie Parker Lowder and husband Lowell C. "Buddy" Lowder of Albemarle, NC, grandchildren Mallory, Casey and Abby Lowder, brother E.K. Graham, Jr. of Mt. Ulla, NC, sisters Rebecca Morrison of China Grove, and Annie Rowles of Fredericksburg, VA.
The funeral will be at 11:00 am Friday at Luther's Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Carol Yeager, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Powles Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday night.
Memorials may be made to Luther's Lutheran Church.
