Rosa Jane Furr

Mrs. Rosa Jane Furr, 72 of 25 Long Street, Albemarle, died Tuesday at 6 p .m. in the Stanly County Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church , conducted by Elder Cliff Allen and Rev. Bennie Carpenter. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jesse Broadway, George Morton, Pete Furr, Carol Furr, Wayne Furr, Darrell Furr, and Ronnie Lowder.

Mrs. Furr was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Furr of Stanly County. Her husband, Marshall Furr, died in 1957.

Surviving are three sons, Daniel, Robert, and Louis all of Albemarle; five daughters Mrs. Broadway, Mrs. Albert Morton, Mrs. John Helms, Mrs. Jack McIntyre and Mrs. James Honeycutt, all of Albemarle; 26 grandchildren . . . .
