Jeanne F. Misenheimer
Jeanne Frick Misenheimer, 84, passed away peacefully at Maria Parham Health on Sunday night May 2, 2021, with her son and his wife by her side.
Born in Salisbury, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Frick and Pauline Lentz Frick.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jeanne was valedictorian of her high school class, and went on to Pfeiffer College in Misenheimer, NC. She then married, moved to Virginia and finished her bachelor’s degree at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. After moving to Richmond, Virginia she taught kindergarten for several years before becoming a full-time mom. She was a master at sewing, crocheting, and baking and won a prize in a Pillsbury bakeoff for her delicious apple pie. She crocheted baby bonnets for both Halifax Regional and Maria Parham in her later years as well as countless beautiful afghans for friends and family. She loved flowers and animals.
Surviving Jeanne in North Carolina are her son and daughter in law, Bryan Misenheimer and Karen Stimson of Henrico, her sister Erlene Caldwell in Salisbury, her sister and brother-in-law Trudy and Kent Bunting of Albemarle, and her brother and sister-in-law Everette and Phyllis Frick of Kannapolis as well as nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ASPCA of Northeastern North Carolina.
