Notes for Margaret Electie Bragg
Margaret Electie Bragg Baker

Margaret Electie Bragg Baker died peacefully in her home on August 18, 2021.  She was 90 years old and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Margaret was born September 28, 1930 in Rowan County, NC.

Her father was Clyde Bragg and her mother was Jessie Lee Ford Bragg.  Both preceded her in death.  Her son, Timothy Edward Page, also preceded her in death, as well as her sister, Elizabeth Lee Hoke and her brother, Jerry Clyde Bragg.

Margaret graduated Cannon High School in 1949.  She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Bonita Springs, Florida, until her retirement.  She lived many years in Florida but upon retirement, returned to Kannapolis to be near her family.

Her children who survive her are Cynthia Page Moore of Kannapolis, NC and Gregory Douglas Page (Tonya) of China Grove, NC.

Her grandchildren are Mandy Page High, Brandon W. Moore, Wesley A. Moore, David L. Tilley, Jr., Elissa M. Moore, Dana L. Tilley and seven great grandchildren.

Margaret loved to sing and graced us with her beautiful voice over the years.  She especially loved singing lullabies to the babies.  She was a beautiful seamstress and even made baby quilts and clothes for her children and grandchildren.   Margaret also loved cooking and would often cook big meals and share them with her family and neighbors right up to her 90th year of life.  She always wanted to take care of her loved ones.

Margaret was a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She loved reading and studying the Bible and sharing her faith with others. There will be a memorial service for her on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 4 pm.  Due to COVID, it will be handled online via Zoom, Meeting ID 830-3527-5987, Passcode 107-247.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.
