Bunch Harding Fraley

HIGH POINT -- Bunch Harding Fraley, 81, Woodruff Avenue, died Monday (Sept. 9, 2002) at Graybrier Nursing Center.

Mr. Fraley, a Rowan County native, was a son of the late Johnny and Anna Lanier Fraley. He served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II.

A resident of High Point since 1946, he was a furniture upholsterer. He retired in 1987 after working many years with Tomlinson of High Point and Kay Lynn furniture companies. He was a member of Montlieu Avenue United Methodist Church.

Survivors include wife Mable Eagle Fraley, whom he married June 29, 1946; daughter Sandra McClellan, Kernersville; son David Wendell Fraley, High Point; brother Donald Fraley, High Point; and one granddaughter.

Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Sechrest Funeral Service chapel, conducted by the Rev. Nathan Snider. Burial will be at Guilford Memorial Park.

Visitation: At the funeral home after the service.

Memorials: Montlieu Avenue United Methodist Church, or donor's choice.
