Mabel Fraley
WILMINGTON - Mrs. Mabel Inez Eagle Fraley, age 93, formerly of High Point, passed away May 11, 2013, in the J.A. Dosher Skilled Nursing Center, Southport.
Mrs. Fraley was born May 29, 1919, in Gold Hill, in Rowan County, N.C., to Joseph Calvin and Lizzie Isadore Dixon Eagle. She graduated in 1936 from Rockwell High School.
She married Bunch Harding Fraley on June 29, 1946. She and her husband joined Montlieu Avenue Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Joy Choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 9, 2002.
Surviving are her son, David Fraley of High Point; her daughter Sandra McClellan and her husband Mack McClellan of Holden Beach; and her granddaughter, Kelly McClellan Bowen and husband Brent of Raleigh.
Services: There will be a graveside service Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Robert Lucas. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Fraley will remain at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point until 10 a.m. Wednesday when she will be taken to Guilford Memorial Park for services.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
