Your Dad's great grandparents included Edwin Phillips who married Sophronia Mehitable Young (which, of course, you all know). Sophronia Mehitable was born in 1812. Her youngest son Linn was born in 1852 and married Amanda Boggs who was born in 1861. Sophronia Mehitable died in 1910 at age 98. Amanda died in 1951 at age 90. When you kids were young, a daughter-in-law of Sophronia Mehitable Young was still living, a member of the generation of your dad's GRANDPARENTS. From the time Amanda married into the family until Sophornia Mehitable died was 58 years. So they had a mother/daughter-in-law relationship for 58 years. Think of the stories she could have told you.
