HOPE MILLS - Donald Harold Lowder, of Hope Mills, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009. Don retired from BB&T. He served in the U.S. Army. Fishing being his hobby, restoration of the Hope Mills Lake was of great concern to him.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Edith Lowder. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Lowder; children, Donald Ray Lowder Sr. and Leslie Carol Lowder; grandchildren, Recehelle D. Lowder, Donald Ray Lowder Jr. and Michael Shayne Lowder; and great-grandchild, William Silas Terricciano.
Pastor Brian Kinlaw will lead services at 3 p.m. today in Reeves Funeral Home chapel in Hope Mills. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will follow in Hope Mills Cemetery.
