Darla Annette Lambert Cook, 59 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at her residence.
Graveside service will be 3:00pm Wednesday at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Steve Combs. The family will be at the home of her parents Odell and Faye Lambert.
Darla was born May 14, 1958 in Cabarrus County, daughter of Odell and Faye Shoe Lambert. She worked for Fiberon in New London. She loved her animals, fishing, flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her son Travis J. Cook.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister Tammy King (Wayne), two nieces Kati and Ashley King and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Stanly County Humane Society.
