Margaret Hoffner Miller
Margaret Hoffner Miller, 68, of Salisbury, died Sunday (May 29, 2005) at Liberty Commons.
Born Feb. 9, 1937, in Rowan County, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Victor Leslie and Gaither Viola Hoffner. Educated in Rowan County schools, she retired from General Electric. She was a member of First Baptist Church, East Spencer.
Her husband, Billy Miller, died Nov. 25, 2001.
Survivors include son Billy Michael Miller, Kannapolis; daughters Teresa Miller Coughenour and Sherry Miller Michael, both of Salisbury, and Tammy Denise Miller Nesbitt, Kannapolis; brother Jim Hoffner, Rockwell; sisters Willie Fesperman, Lexington, Doris Holloway and Grace Durham, both of Kannapolis, and Pauline Scott, Rockwell; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Lyerly Funeral Home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Deal. Burial, Rowan Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
