ROCK HILL - Mrs. Sheri Hope Hamilton Livingston, 52, joined the Lord and her grandparents in Heaven on Monday, June 13, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center - Main in Charlotte, N.C.
Born in Salisbury, N.C., Mrs. Livingston was the daughter of Charles Hamilton and Sylvia Waller Hamilton of Rock Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Joel Livingston.
She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church and taught at Head Start in Chester, S.C., and held various teaching positions in Rock Hill.
She was a daddy's girl and her mother's pride and joy; a beautiful, loving mother, sister, daughter and friend to all. She loved her church, to work with children, loved reading and being with friends and family.
In addition to her parents, surviving are her daughter, Laura Livingston of Rock Hill; three brothers, Charles Hamilton of Greenbriar, Tenn., Jeffery Hamilton of Rock Hill and Raymond Hamilton of Snellville, Ga.; two sisters, Lisa Marsengill and Mary Creighton, both of Rock Hill; 11 nieces and nephews; three great-nieces; and four great-nephews.
Service: A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday, June 16 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2370 W. Main St., Rock Hill, with the Rev. Jeff Lingle officiating.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 15 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, Rock Hill; and other times, at the home of her parents, 849 Belaire Drive, Rock Hill.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church, Rock Hill, SC.
