Sunday, October 26, 2008 — Robert Donald Page, 69, of 111 Simpson Road, Locust, died at 9:02 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at CMC-Main. His funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Carolina Presbyterian Church in Locust with The Rev. Patrick Womack officiating. Military rites were given at graveside by Stanly County DAV Chapter 12. Visitation took place at the church an hour prior to the funeral. Born Dec. 11, 1938, in Locust, he was a son of Donnie Mae (Barbee) Page and the late Paul Edward Page. He was an Air Force veteran and a supervisor for Charlotte Aircraft Corporation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Brent (Kennedy) Page, and two sisters, Eva Lee Page and Nancy Smith. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Brent Miller and wife, Tracie, of Oakboro; two daughters, Jan Almond and husband, Everette, of Locust, and Patricia Weeks; two brothers, Eddie Page of Locust and Rickey Page of Concord; three sisters, Clara “Sissy” Churchill and Kay Ridenhour, both of Locust, and Debbie Fevurly of Parker, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Drew and Trexler Almond, J. P. and Katelyn Weeks, Emma, Madelyn and Carter Miller. Arrangements by Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland.
