Geraldeen Allman Eagle, 93, of Concord, departed the Tucker Hospice House of Kannapolis for her heavenly home, Thursday, May 23, 2019.
She was born Jan. 16, 1926, to the late John and Stella Allman of Mt. Pleasant, and was one of three children: late Robert "Buddy" Allman of Mt. Pleasant and Tommy Joe Allman of Concord.
Geraldeen was married to the late Carl Eagle of Mt. Pleasant and had five children: Gail and the late Robert "Bob" Brooks of Concord, the late Brenda and the late Harmon Gilmore of Mt. Pleasant, Keith and Patty Eagle of Kannapolis, Grant and Leah Eagle of Concord, and Tina Eagle of Ocean Isle.
She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She lived in Wesbury Apartments and loved all the residents. She enjoyed playing bingo, eating potluck dinners, attending church services, and sitting outside with the girls. She spent her life as a seamstress for her family, friends, and many local textile mills.
Geraldeen loved to spend time with her family and travel around the world. She loved a steak dinner with a cold beer and shopping in any thrift store.
