ALBEMARLE - Mr. Hugh Pierce Harwood 85, retired farmer, died April 26, 1992, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital, Concord. Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Salem United Methodist Church. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home.
Survivors are his wife, Doris; daughters, Ms. Patsy Blankenship of Mount Pleasant, Ms. Ann Hatley; brother, J.D. Harwood Jr. of Mount Pleasant; stepson, Rodney Summerell of Concord; stepdaughter, Mrs. Zell Cline of Concord.
The family will be at Ms. Patsy Blankenship's home, 34884 Finger Rd., Mount Pleasant.
