Mrs. Barringer was a native of Cabarrus Co. born May 3, 1937, daughter of the late Adam Paul and Fannie Mae Harwood Furr. She was a graduate of Concord High School and had attended Mars Hill College. She worked for 20 years as office manager for Troutman Enterprise and later with Barnhardt Electric. She was a member of Kerr Memorial Baptist Church.
