Maude Lyerly Lippard
Maude Lyerly Lippard, 99, Salisbury, died Tuesday (Dec. 17, 2002) at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 25, 1902, in Rowan County, Mrs. Lippard, a daughter of the late W.A. and Minnie Morgan Lyerly, was educated in the Rowan County schools.
She was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ, Faith. A homemaker, she had also worked for Nazareth Children's Home as a cook and housemother.
Her husband, Lee Lippard, died Sept. 13, 1988.
Survivors include daughters Mildred L. Kuykendall and Betty Jane Lippard, both of Salisbury.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Shiloh United Church of Christ, Faith, conducted by the Rev. Lawrence Bolick. Burial, church cemetery.
Visitation: 7-8:30 tonight, Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell. At other times the family will be at the home.
