Kelly Jean Almond Hatley, 48, of New London passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 24, 2017 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00AM prior to the service.
Mrs. Hatley was born May 10, 1968 in Stanly County to Jean C. Almond and the late Paul A. Almond. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Richfield, NC. Kelly loved traveling to the beach and to the mountains. She also enjoyed crafting and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Mrs. Hatley is survived by her husband Jeffrey Adam Hatley of the home; sons Justin Hatley of New London and Josh Hatley and wife Amanda of Old Towne, ME; daughter Jamey Hatley of New London; grandchildren June and Julie Hatley; and a brother Michael P. Almond of Gold Hill, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions can be made to Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care.
