Sunday, July 8, 2007 — Claudine Shaver Hopkins, 81, of 44115 Vickers Store Road, Albemarle, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Herbert. They were married for 57 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children:Tony Hopkins, Libby Hartsell and Donna Smith; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her funeral was at Dunn's Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 3. The Rev. Ken Martin and The Rev. Fred Miller officiated. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County. Stanly Funeral Home was in charge.
