PROSPERITY — Graveside services for Johnny Dean Lambert will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Locust, NC.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Helen Beebe, 181 Tailers Trail, Leesville, SC 29070 or the American Red Cross, 2751 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
Mr. Lambert, 61, died December 28, 2006. Born in Whiteville, NC, he was a son of Eunnie Lambert and the late Luther Eli Lambert.
Mr. Lambert was the supervisor of Transportation - Dutch Fork Cluster with the School District 5-Lexington and Richland Counties. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother of Stanfield, NC, are his wife, Dolly Williams Lambert; daughters, Christy (Les) Slater of Rock Hill and Lisa (Tim) Morris of Harrisburg, NC; a brother, Jimmy Allen Lambert of Concord; grandchildren, Tyler Alexander Morris and Gryffin Eli Lambert Slater.
