Cynthia Lou Byrnes, 66, of China Grove, passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, surrounded by family. She was born on May 30, 1951 in Barnesboro, Pa., to the late John Edward Byrnes and Janet M. Smith.
Cynthia worked a variety of jobs through her life including the health professions because she cared deeply about helping others. She enjoyed needlecrafts, photography, and country styling. Her real passion was her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by her step-granddaughter, Victoria.
Cynthia is survived by her children, Julie (Darren) of Austin, Tex., Robert Kolesar (Sharla), Jonathan Kolesar of Surprise, Ariz., Thomas Kolesar (Caitlyn) of Peoria, Ariz., Curtis Kesler (Amanda) of Salisbury, and Kristopher Kesler (Briana) of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Russell, Ronald, and Donald; sisters, Connie and Bonnie; and eight grandchildren.
Carolina Cremation of Salisbury is assisting the Byrnes family.
