Jerry Lynn Corl, 59, of Salisbury, died Thursday (Nov. 21, 2002), at NorthEast Medical Center.
Born March 28, 1943, in Rowan County, Mr. Corl was a son of Myrtle Simmons Corl of Gold Hill and the late John Grady Corl. A graduate of Rockwell High School, he was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include wife Sharon Barringer Corl; son Michael Paul Corl of the home; daughter Kimberly Lynn Corl, Granite Quarry; brothers John Corl and Robert Corl, both of Gold Hill; and sister Melva Adams, Jacksonville.
Services: 11 a.m. today, Open Door Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Charles Goodman, pastor. Burial, church cemetery.
Visitation:10-11 today, Open Door Baptist Church.
