Mary Catherine Lowder, 60, of Denton, NC passed away on December 1, 2013 at the Hinkle Hospice House. Mrs. Lowder was born on October 2, 1953 in Montgomery County, NC to the late Mr. Jack Tunney Howard and Minnie Fraley Howard.
Mary enjoyed playing games on her computer and loved her two chihuahuas. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Herman Ford Lowder Jr.; daughters, Vickie Reep of Trinity, NC, Angela Greenwood of Thomasville, NC, and Tammie Owens of Thomasville, NC; brother, Buddy Howard; sisters, Becky Burkette and husband Bob of Denton, NC, and Brenda Howard of Denton, NC; and 8 grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life, Saturday December 7th, 2013 from 7pm-9pm at the Denton Civic Center.
Carolina Cremation of Salisbury, North Carolina is assisting the Lowder family.
