CHINA GROVE - Margaret "Peggy" Jane Eller Bocchino, 78, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Tucker Hospice House.
Mrs. Bocchino was born May 10, 1931, in Rowan County to the late John and Bessie Eagle Eller. She was a nurse at the VA Hospital in New Jersey for 35 years. She was also a collector of dolls, loved growing roses and helping others.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Bocchino Sr.; stepson Arthur Bocchino Jr. of Muscatine, Iowa; and sisters JoAnn Frye of China Grove and Nancy Day of Roxboro.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Carolina Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Jared Lanning.
Memorials: May be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Building Fund, 108 W. Rice St., Landis, NC 28088.
Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove is assisting the family in making arrangements.
