Mr. Baxter Lee Gilmore, 76, of Waynesville died early Monday morning (Sept.11, 2006), at the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. A native of Albemarle, N.C. he was the son of Henry and Lillie Mae Williams Gilmore. He was of the Baptist faith and was a commercial truck driver.
He is survived by his fiancée, Cecelia Malone of Waynesville, a half-brother, Kenny Gilmore, and also several cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-9PM at Chambless-Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta.
Graveside services will be held at 11AM Wednesday morning (Sept.13, 2006) in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Waynesville with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating.
