Kermit Gene Carriker, 79, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his home in Albemarle.
Gene Carriker was born October 26, 1941 in Stanly County to the late William Claude Carriker and the late Myrintha Myrtle Carriker.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, November 9, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 522 North Second Street, Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 22182 Canton Road, Albemarle and will be officiated by Rev. Mitchell Cook. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Judy Ridenhour Carriker of Albemarle; daughter, Teena (Mike) Rehberg; sons, Nelson Carriker, Ross Carriker, Chad (Stacey) Carriker; and 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Carriker family.
