Mary Ann Shepherd Oakley
Mary Ann Shepherd Oakley, 70, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in Rowan County on May 11, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Mollie Misenheimer and Dolph Shepherd.
Mary was a member of Trading Ford Baptist Church and a cancer survivor.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Cordell Shepherd.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Oakley of Salisbury; son, David Linn Oakley (Candace) of Salisbury; brothers, Lee Shepherd (Cookie) of Salisbury; Charlie Shepherd (Evelyn) of Salisbury; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 10:30-11:30 AM Monday, October 12, 2015 at Trading Ford Baptist Church.
Graveside Service: 12:00 PM Monday at Trading Ford Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Johnny Boggs and the Rev. Mike Motley officiating.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope Church, 7004 Old Concord Rd, Salisbury, NC.
