Tuesday, December 11, 2007 — Mary Lou Furr Eudy, 91, of 9629 Mission Church Road, Locust, died at 5:20 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Hospice House Kannapolis.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday with a 30-minute state in Community Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Richard Collins, The Rev. Tim Kendall and The Rev. Roy Barbee will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The family will meet at the home.
Born June 24, 1916, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Monroe Furr and Laura Jane (Furr) Furr and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Krone Harrison Eudy, and a son, Phillip M. Eudy.
She is survived by six sons, Clay Van Eudy, Wayne Eudy and Johnny Eudy, all of Locust, Kenneth Eudy of Rockwell, Edward Eudy of Winston-Salem and Roger Eudy of Harrisburg; two daughters, Kay (Eudy) Proctor of Locust and Mary Jane (Eudy) Dorton of Concord; a brother, J. Doise Furr of Albemarle; a sister, Dorsie Furr of Albemarle; 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, or North Carolina Lions Foundation.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is in charge.
