SALISBURY - Mr. Lloyd Ray Allman Sr., 62, of Wiley Lane died Friday at Rowan Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
A native of Rowan County, he was retired from Isenhour Brick and a World War II Navy veteran. He was a charter member of Samuel C. Hart American Legion Post and Harold B. Jarrett American Legion Post. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Louise Allman, sons, Lloyd Allman Jr., Michael Allman, both of Salisbury; mother, Mrs. Stella Allman of Salisbury; brothers, Donald Allman of Greensboro, Wayne Allman of Lynwood, Cecil Allman of Salisbury; sister, Mrs. Sue Correll of Mount Ulla; three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Rowan County Chapter, 2312 E. Innes St., Salisbury, NC.
Lyerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
