Barbara Efird Hedrick

Barbara Efird Hedrick, 66 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Hedrick was born September 15, 1950 to the late William Titus Efird, Jr and wife Ethel Hopkins Efird. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Crisco and nephew, Gene Hathcock.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1309 Old Charlotte Road, Albemarle officiated by Rev. Joe Smith. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery at 35614 Palestine Road, Albemarle.

Survivors include: husband, of 46 years, Gene Hedrick; daughter, Angela Macmurphy and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Sully and Addie Macmurphy; sister, Lucy Montgomery and husband, Michael; nieces, Teresa Watson and husband, Jimmy, Kim Farlow and husband, Robert and nephew, Perry Montgomery and wife, Sharon.
