SALISBURY - Christopher Brown Bame, 62, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast, Concord.
Born in Salisbury June 23, 1951, he was the son of Max B. Bame and Mary Flora Bame.
A graduate of Boyden High School, Christopher attended Great Lakes Naval Academy. He retired from United and Eastern Air Lines in Miami, Fla., after 35 years of service.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Kyle J. Bame of Miami, Fla.; brother Jerry Bame of Salisbury; nephews Jeffrey Bame of Salisbury and Rodney Bame of Raleigh.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Tyler Speir for all of his help.
Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5 at Chestnut Hill Cemetery with Dr. Neil Westbrook officiating.
