Dennis Franklin Hill, 69, of Gold Hill, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his residence in Gold Hill, NC.
He was born January 10, 1953 in Salisbury, NC to the late Frank Eugene Hill and Marie Ketchie Hill. Dennis was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Lefler.
Dennis is survived by his wife Janet Misenheimer Hill, whom he married June 11, 1976; daughter, Amber (James) Smith of Elkton, MD; son, Eric Hill of Gold Hill, NC; two nieces, Cindy Lefler and Deanna Elmore, both of Rockwell, NC; and brother-in-law, Butchie Misenheimer of Mocksville, NC.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, February 13, 2022, 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm at Liberty United Methodist Church, Gold Hill, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022, in the Liberty United Methodist Church, Gold Hill, NC, with Rev. Charles Curtis, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Liberty United Methodist Church, 3640 Liberty Road, Gold Hill, NC.
