Sharon Olivia McCraw Cauble
Sharon Olivia McCraw Cauble 76, of Salisbury went to be with the Lord August 5, 2023 at 1:00 AM at Novant’s Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Shiver and Iris McCraw of Spencer. She was born December 24, 1946 at 1:00 AM. She attended Rowan County schools and graduated from North Rowan in 1965. Her career started in banking, then as a beautician, then at several other places before joining Walmart where she worked in many departments before finally finishing her 14-year career in the cash office.
She met and married the love of her life, Grady L. Cauble, on May 19, 1968. Her hobbies included painting, ceramics, sewing, working with crafts, reading short stories and her Bible.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother Dan McCraw (Brenda) of Belmont, many nieces, nephews, cousins, a sister-in law Wilma Bridges of Tallahassee, FL., and a brother-in law J. E. Cauble of Salisbury.
She was very active at St. Luke’s Reformed Church where she served many years as the church secretary as well as actively serving in the Choir, Women’s Fellowship, and her Sunday School Class.
The funeral will be held on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s Reformed Church, 1775 St. Luke’s Church Road.
Carolina Cremation is honored to serve the Cauble family.
