Notes for Harvey Jeremiah Peeler
Harvey Peeler taught school, was superintendent of the East Spencer schools, and later the Kannapolis school system. He left academia in 1922 and operated a meat market and grocery store in Kannapolis.
Harvey was killed when his shotgun accidentally fired while he was hunting. His body was found in Town Creek south of Salisbury.
