SALISBURY | Roy Howard Campbell Sr., 91, of South Main Street, Granite Quarry, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Rowan Regional Medical Center after being in declining health for six weeks.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Shiloh United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Rev. Jonathan Marlowe. Burial will follow in the mausoleum of Rowan Memorial Park.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl Eagle Campbell; one son, Roy H. Campbell Jr. and his wife, Norma, of Salisbury; two daughters, Rachel Campbell Rufty and her husband, Tommy, and Annette Campbell Poole and her husband, Jack, all of Salisbury; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Memorials may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 315, Granite Quarry, N.C. 28072.
