Aunt Carrie, as Mamie Page called her, lived in the house that had been Joseph Eagle's home from 1883 until 1911. (See note for Joseph Eagle.) She kept it in immaculate condition. In 1996 her son-in-law, Herman Ribelin, was living there and had restored it after years of neglect following Aunt Carrie's death.
