Grace Mahaley Kluttz, 86,of Granite Quarry went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 1, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 8, 1929 in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Georgia Pence Mahaley and Waddell Mahaley.
She was a housewife, a graduate of Salisbury Beauty Academy and worked in the office of DMI furniture for many years. She was a member of Christina Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Kluttz on April 29, 1997.
Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memories are her son Randy G. Kluttz (Rebecca M.) of Salisbury, daughter Vickie Gathings of Lexington, NC, sisters Christine M. Gheen and Betty M. Herion both of Salisbury, 6 grandchildren Jason Kluttz (Kaci), Melissa Cornatzer (Scott), Paul Kluttz (Brittany),Brent Smith (Robin),Nathan Ensley (Becky) and BJ Gathings and 7 great-grandchildren Lily, Oakley, Cazzie and Callie Kluttz, Wade Smith and Eli and Lexi Ensley.
Visitation: 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Christiana Lutheran Church, 6190 US 52 Hwy., Salisbury, NC 28146.
Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Christiana Lutheran Church with the Rev. Carl M. Haynes officiating. Interment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
Memorials: Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.
