Elizabeth "Lib" Trexler Shuping
Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Trexler Shuping, 92 of Rockwell, NC passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at her residence Lib was born Feb. 10, 1921 in Rowan County the daughter of the late, Cyrus Adam Trexler and Elsie Elwood Foutz Trexler.
Lib was a 1938 graduate of Rockwell High School, a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Rockwell, and she had retired from Cartex Mills with 33 years of service.
In additional to her parents, Lib was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Junior Shuping, who died on January 21, 1986, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Shuping is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. David Martin, Interim pastor at St. James Lutheran Church and Rev. Charles R. McManus, Pastor Emeritus.
Interment: Will follow at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rockwell.
