Gary “Red” Bennett
Mr. Gary “Red” Bennett, 76, of Friendship-Ledford Rd., passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at his residence.
He was born March 27, 1938 to the late Charles Seavy and Juanita Montgomery Bennett.
Mr. Bennett was an avid hunter; a former member of Two Rivers Hunt Club; and was a football and baseball fan.
Surviving are his spouse, Carolyn Bennett of the home; daughters, Cindy Hall and husband Keith, Connie Cope and husband Ron, and Lorrie Smith and husband Eric; brothers, Seavy Allen Bennett and wife Barbara, and Charles Boyce Bennett and wife Karen; two grandchildren, Kendal Lindsay and husband Gary and Luke Smith; he also had many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Silver Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
