Lois Kluttz Webb
Mrs. Lois Kluttz Webb, 91, of Salisbury, NC passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at The Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
Born August 28, 1926 in Rowan County she was a daughter of the late Charlie Alexander Kluttz and Bessie Canup Kluttz. She was a graduate of Woodleaf High School and Salisbury Business College.
Lois worked many years in retail sales of women’s clothing and later retired from B.F. Goodrich.
Mrs. Webb was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church and an associate member of Salem Lutheran Church where she was a contributing member of the WELCA.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Richard Alexander Webb on July 14, 2017. They married on June 24, 1951. She also was preceded by a sister, Mable Lingle and a brother, Charles Kluttz, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are brothers-in-law, Bobby L. Webb (Jean), Johnny L. Webb (Ruth), Jackie R. Webb (Kathy); sister-in-law, Rachel W. Owen (Glenn); nephews, Robert Webb, Timothy Webb, Thomas Webb, Ronald Webb, Johnny D. Webb, Randy Webb, Mark Webb and Daniel Webb; and nieces, Gina Shuey, Carol Freeze and Suzanne McLimore.
The family will receive friends 3 – 4 PM Friday, September 22, 2017 at Salem Lutheran Church.
A funeral service will follow at 4 PM with Rev. Dawn Rister and Rev. John Elam officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or to Franklin Presbyterian Church.
