On January 12, 2003, Bertha Gordon Wyatt of Manassas, VA went home to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Norman Wyatt, and their son, John.
Beloved mother of six daughters, Norma Piccolo, Linda Bowers, Sharon Valentino, Phyllis Scheminske and Vicki Machado and Diane Wyatt, three sons, Lawrence Wyatt, James Wyatt and Joseph Wyatt; a sister, Beatrice Florimbio; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday January 16, 2003 at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday January 17, at Christ Chapel, 13909 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, VA. Interment will follow at Woodbine Baptist Church Cemetery, Manassas, VA.
