Elaine Frances Frick
Elaine Frances Frick, 85, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John Kelly and Frances Steka Kelly.
Elaine was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and the Salisbury Moose Lodge where she volunteered many hours. She was very active in the "dog world" having a good reputation in breeding and showing beautiful miniature poodles. She also owned and operated a grooming shop in BelAir, MD for about 36 years. She was an avid reader and also loved watching and feeding birds. She was very devoted to her daughter and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Lou Harrison & her husband, William; 3 grandsons, William Harrison, Martin Harrison & his wife, Kimberly, and Shawn Harrison & his wife, Laura; 3 great granddaughters, Taylor, Ryan & Mallory Harrison; and 4 great grandsons, Adam, William, Jacob & Matthew Harrison, all from Salisbury.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burns Elbert Frick, a brother, Thomas Prather and a sister, Lorraine Fleck.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:00am at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice, Salisbury, Maryland.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury, Maryland.
